About Tallow Family Practice

Tallow Family Practice is a GP Practice located at the Health Centre, Convent Street, Tallow. We have been providing care to the community since 1986 when Dr Dermot Cantillon retired. Our Practice has continued to grow throughout the years alongside the needs of the community. 

We offer a wide variety of medical services to medical card and private patients equally. These include antenatal and postnatal care, women's health including menopause care and advanced contraception options, minor surgical procedures, vaccinations, men's health care and sports injuries assessments, as well as consultations for any acute health concerns. We provide regular clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma and COPD to assist people in managing their illness to minimise its impact on their quality of life. 

Our aim is to provide evidence based, patient centred care. We are an inclusive practice who are happy to welcome all within our community. The ethos of our practice is to offer each individual person high quality care based on kindness, care and respect. 

Our surgery is wheelchair accessible and parking is available directly outside the surgery.
